How it works

You write one line. Your customer sees a slim bar at the top of the page and can close it.

Good for

• Pointing buyers to order tracking or your help centre
• Announcing a loyalty program or referral offer
• A holiday notice on the order status page

Where it shows

Every plan except Shopify Starter on the thank-you and customer account pages. Customer account pages also need Shopify's current customer accounts.

Good to know

• Shopify has no announcement bar on the checkout page, so this block can't go there.
• Only one app's announcement shows per page. If another app already uses the bar, ours won't show.
