Delivery rules
All plans
Hide or rename shipping options at checkout, so buyers only see the ones that make sense.
How it works
Pick shipping options from your shipping settings and choose to hide or rename each one. Preview the rule in a real checkout, then set it to Active.
Good for
- Hiding express shipping when you can't meet it, like over the holidays
- A clearer name: “Standard” becomes “Standard, ships in 2 days”
- Hiding a slow economy option you no longer want to offer

Nothing to place. A rule works as soon as it's active. While it's a draft or paused, checkout doesn't change.
Good to know
- Shopify requires the cheapest shipping option to stay available. If an option you hide is the cheapest one a buyer can see, it stays visible for that buyer. In-store pickup, local delivery and pickup points can always be hidden.
- Carrier options keep the carrier's name at the front: “UPS Standard” can become “UPS Standard, 3 days”, not “Fast shipping”.
- The delivery date under the name comes from your shipping settings in Shopify, not from the rule.
- The app adds Checkout Master rules under Settings › Shipping and delivery › Delivery customizations in Shopify. Leave it on: turning it off there stops every delivery rule.
- Rules apply to every checkout for now.
